Aviation Day – Anchorage

Alaska Airlines is proud to host our first Aviation Day in Anchorage on Friday, September 12 for youth ages 11-20.

The free event aims to inspire aviation dreams in young people in our local communities. Aviation Day provides the opportunity for young adults to learn about the various paths in the aviation industry, as well as educational paths to a career.

Parking

There is no parking available at the Alaska Airlines Hangar. Please park at the Ted Stevens International Airport snow dump parking lot off Lake Hood. There will be a shuttle provided to the hangar.

Directions for parking:

1. Take W. International Airport Rd.
2. Merge right onto Postmark Dr.
3. Turn right onto Lake Hood Dr.
4. Destination on your left (look for the Alaska Airlines Aviation Day event signage)
